What we offer

Our home is a much sought-after Hungarian aged care facility in Wantirna in Melbourne’s leafy eastern suburbs. Built in 1994, and fully government accredited, it has 62 low and high-care-level rooms and 11 independent villa units, enabling us to provide transitional care from independent living through to low and high-level care.

Residential aged care

Residential aged care combines the comforts of home with the highest quality care.

Independent Living

Árpád’s villa units adjacent to the main home offer you independence and peace of mind.

In-house services

The home has a rich Hungarian flavour, with many Hungarian nurses and support staff, Hungarian cuisine, and ongoing celebration of Hungarian culture and tradition.

Life is easier…

…with Arpad Aged Care. There is always something happening at Arpad.

Whether we are celebrating Mother’s Day, St Stephen’s Day, March 15 or Christmas, our staff make sure that our residents enjoy the day. We also have programs such as international days when we try exotic cuisines and learn about other lifestyles.

Our home has a friendly and welcoming living area where residents can enjoy each other’s company, listen to music, watch television (including Duna TV) and use our extensive library which contains a wide selection of Hungarian books. Coffee or tea can be enjoyed on the spacious patio next to the garden. Organised activities include book and poetry readings, bingo, educational talks, and group exercise and physiotherapy. Regular religious services are also offered.

Open day

We have an annual open day at the home, as well as information evenings. If you would like to make an appointment to visit our facility, contact our manager.
