Aged care services
Arpad offers a relaxing lifestyle in a unique environment
What we offer
Our home is a much sought after Hungarian aged care facility in Wantirna in Melbourne’s leafy eastern suburbs. Built in 1994, and fully government accredited, it has 60 low and high care level rooms and 11 independent villa units, enabling us to provide transitional care from independent living through to low and high-level care.
In-house services
The home has a rich Hungarian flavour, with many Hungarian nurses and support staff, Hungarian cuisine and ongoing celebration of Hungarian culture and tradition.
How to apply
Moving into an aged care home can be a difficult and emotional decision. We aim to try to help you to make it as easy as possible.

Celebrations
Whether we are celebrating Mother’s Day, St Stephen’s Day, March 15 or Christmas, our staff make sure that our residents enjoy the day. We also have international days, when we try out exotic cuisine and learn about other lifestyles.

Lifestyle
Our home has a friendly and welcoming living area where residents enjoy each other’s company, listen to music, watch television (including Duna TV) and use the extensive library which also contains a wide selection of Hungarian books. Coffee or tea can be enjoyed on the spacious patio in a garden setting. Organised activities include book and poetry readings, bingo, educational talks and group exercise and physiotherapy. Regular religious services are also offered.

Open day
We have an annual open day at the home. Information evenings will be held. However, if you would like to make an appointment to visit and see our facilities, contact our manager.
